LOO FOH SANG 盧伙生

1944年出生于马来西亚享州甘孟。
现任卢伙生艺术馆馆长及亚洲美术家协会名誉主席。 留法画家,主修现代版画创作。涉猎各艺术媒介,包括油刀画,水墨画,漆彫,速写等。从其众多的创作作品中,可观其一生的喜,怒,哀,乐和真,善,美好艺境。作品被法国,比利时,加拿大,日本,波兰,罗马尼亚,意大利,台湾,新加玻,大马和中国等国际的博物馆以及收藏。
Loo Foh Sang was born in 1944 in Kuantan, Pahang. He studied at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore from 1963 till 1965. He furthered his studies at the Ecole National Superieure des Beaux Arts (1966-1969). After graduation, Loo remained in Paris and was accepted to understudy printmaking under the tutelage of Stanley William Hayter, the English printmaker, and painter who founded Atelier 17, widely known as the most influential print workshop of the 20th century (1967-1971). He devoted himself to the art of printmaking after completing studies at Atelier 17 and lived in Paris for 25 years. Loo Foh Sang’s work has been exhibited around the world with over 33 solo exhibitions, 50 over group exhibitions, including world-renowned printmaking biannual exhibitions. Being in the art world for more than 50 years, he has been involved in various art media, combining oil painting, color ink painting, printmaking (copper etching, stencil printing, woodcut, and single-printing), and sketching. From his numerous thousands of creations, we can see a beautiful portrayal of joy, anger, sorrow, joy, and truth, goodness, and beauty of his life.
