Cyan Low 是一位广告设计师兼画家。同时也是马来西亚艺术协会的会员。我的主要创作分为四个系列，荣神益人，学境系列，兰繁系列和船之系列。

能够成为画家是我儿时的梦想。当我35岁的时候，我发觉我已经度过了人生的一半，儿时的梦想重新被点燃,我觉得是时候实现我儿时的梦想,并实现它。荣神益人,这系列的启蒙是在2018年四月八日的那个下午，我参加了教会在 Stadium Melawati  Shah Alam 的复活节佈道会。突然我被感动说，为什么我不能用主所给予的恩赐去服持我的主？！过后我就像得着了能力，恩膏和启旨开始把我这份的恩赐投入和委身在主耶稣的国度里。我希望可以透过我的画作去荣耀神和感动人的心，所以我开始以＂荣神益人＂这主题为我创作的系列。

学境系列主要我是想把儿时上学的回忆保留下来，因为那是一段最快乐的童年。希望赏画者也能够感受到那份的喜悦，那份的童真。

兰繁系列所散发出来的信息是带着飘舞的热情，绽放它的神采，让人深深为它着迷，同时也盼望着在这系列中能够让人感受到它的强烈生命力。

最后船一直都是我所喜欢的主题，因它实在有太多要传递的故事，不管是停泊在港湾的，还是奔向大海的船只，总是让我有种时间停顿的感觉。

当然许多的灵感都在平时的日常生活环境里的变化，敏感在予自己的感观里的观，听，思。当然少不了阅读。目前我也在跟着杨应平先生学画。可以认识到我的艺术导师杨应平先生可是我的荣幸，在他细心的教导下，看见无论在画工，技法或理念都有明显的进步。

My name is Cyan Low, Im an advertising designer and painter Artlist, as well as a member of the Malaysian Art Association. My main works of art are divided into four series: Glory of God and His People,  School Life, Orchids and Ships.

It was my childhood dream to be a painter. When I was 35 years old, I found that I had passed half of my life, my childhood dream was rekindled, and I felt that it was time to realize my childhood dream and make it happen. Series of Glory of God and His People, the initiation of this series took place on the afternoon of April 8, 2018, when I attended the church’s Easter evangelism at Stadium Melawati Shah Alam. Suddenly I was touch by god, why can’t I serve my Lord with the gift He has given me? ! Afterwards, I felt empowered, anointed and inspired, and began to devote and commit my gift to the kingdom of the Lord Jesus. I hope to glorify God and touch people’s hearts through my paintings, so I started my series with the theme of ” Glory of God and His People “.

The main purpose of the School Life series is to preserve the memories of my childhood in school, because that was the happiest childhood. I hope that those who appreciate the paintings can also feel that joy and innocence.

The information that the  Orchids series exudes is with fluttering enthusiasm, blooming its spirit, and making people deeply fascinated by it. At the same time, it is hoped that people can feel its strong vitality in this series.

And the ship series has always been my favorite theme, because it has too many stories to convey, whether it is a ship anchored in the harbor or a ship heading to the sea, it always makes me feel like time has stopped.

Inspiration can come from many of the subtle changes in everyday life, and it all depends on my own perceptions which include what I see, what I hear, and what I think. Also, not forgetting what I read. Right now, I am learning with mentor Mr Yeo Eng Peng. It is my honour to meet mentor Mr Yeo Eng Peng, as I can see significant improvements in my skill, technique, and concepts under his careful guidance.

我觉得最重要的是要保守赤子之心，莫忘初衷为什么要拿起画笔。要学习去爱自己的作品，了解自己的作品，别人才可以感受我的作品中的含义。触动人心是我一直想要达到的境界。

I think the most important thing is to maintain the heart of a child, and to never forget the reason I first picked up a painting brush. I must learn to love and to understand my own artwork, before someone else can experience the deep meaning behind my paintings. Whatever I do, my goal is always to touch people’s hearts.

艺术世界是应该更为包容，所以没有特别去关注某个指定的趋势，因为我相信往后的艺术将会演变成更多流体的艺术。未来充满许多的不确定性，但我们是否可以用目前我们所懂的艺术为未来留下一些的故事启发，提醒，生活回忆，爱，包容，我相信艺术无国界，艺术是触动人心。

The world of art should be inclusive, therefore I was never one to notice or concern myself with any specific trends, because I believe art will become more and more fluid in the future. Although it is filled with uncertainties, we can still use what we know about art now to leave some stories, inspiration, reminders, memories, love, and compassion. I believe that art is borderless; art is touching people’s hearts.
